A |     New Delhi, Oct 14 (UNI) India's indigenously built nuclear submarine INS Arihant on Friday carried out a successful launch of a Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) that hit the target with high accuracy.

"The missile was tested to a predetermined range and impacted the target area in the Bay of Bengal with very high accuracy. All operational and technological parameters of the weapon system have been validated," the Defence Ministry said.

"The successful user training launch of the SLBM by INS Arihant is significant to prove crew competency and validate the SSBN programme, a key element of India’s nuclear deterrence capability. A robust, survivable and assured retaliatory capability is in keeping with India’s policy to have ‘Credible Minimum Deterrence‘ that underpins its ‘No First Use’ commitment," the Ministry added.

INS Arihant is India's first indigenous nuclear submarine and the flagship of the Arihant-class of nuclear powered ballistic missile submarines that is based on the Russian Akula-1 class submarine.

The 6,000 tonne submarine was built under the Advanced Technology Vessel project at the Ship Building Centre in Visakhapatnam.

UNI ASU SHK1848。    신한은행은 고금리 가계대출을 보유한 고객의 금융비용 부담을 완화하기 위해 지난해 ‘헬프업 & 밸류업(Help-up & Value-up) 프로젝트’ 의 일환으로 시행한 가계대출 금리 인하 지원을 26일부터 1년간 연장한다고 밝혔다.‘헬프업 & 밸류업 프로젝트’는 고객의 경제적 자립을 돕고(Help-up) 자산 가치를 높여(Value-up) 지속 가능한 금융생활을 지원하기 위해 지난해 신한금융그룹이 시행한 상생금융 프로젝트다.신한은행은 지난해 7월부터 1년간 9.8% 초과 금리가 적용되는 가계대출의 금리를 9.8%로 낮춰 고객의 이자 부담을 경감했다. 이번 연장을 통해 고금리 가계대출을 이용하는 고객의 금융비용 부담 완화를 이어간다.지원 대상은 2026년 7월 기준 9.8%를 초과하는 금리가 적용되는 가계대출을 보유한 고객 중 대출 잔여 만기가 3개월 이상인 고객이다. 대상 고객의 대출금리는 별도의 신청 절차 없이 9.8%로 인하된다.지원 기간은 해당 대출의 만기일까지이며, 잔여 만기가 1년을 초과하는 경우 최대 1년간 지원한다. 이번 지원 대상은 총 2만8411건, 대출잔액 기준 약 3114억원 규모로 예상된다. 지원 기간 중 대출이 연체될 경우 기존 대출이자와 연체이자를 납부해야 한다.한편, 신한은행은 21일 중저신용 고객의 금융 접근성을 높이고 이자 부담을 완화하기 위해 ‘슈퍼SOL중금리대출’을 출시했다. 외부 신용평점(NICE 또는 KCB) 하위 50% 중저신용 고객을 대상으로 1인당 최대 2000만원까지 지원하며, 자체 개발한 ‘서민 대안신용평가모형’을 적용해 사회초년생·주부 등 금융거래 이력이 상대적으로 부족한 고객까지 금융지원의 폭을 넓혔다. 연 5.5~6.9%의 고정금리를 적용받고 대출 기간은 최대 36개월이다. 정호원 기자。
